“We are thrilled to announce the opening of our newest store at City Center DC”, said Anthony Ledru, President and CEO of Louis Vuitton Americas. “This store, in the heart of the city, will offer an exceptional level of service and a unique experience to local clients and visitors to the nation’s capital.”
BESPOKE OFFER – Louis Vuitton City Center DC will feature an assortment of leathergoods, shoes and accessories debuting with Nicolas Ghesquière’s Fall Winter 2015 Collection with the Petite Malle in bordeaux, the Twist lock bag in vernis noir and the Charlotte flat boot in black calf leather.
The store also will offer an extensive selection of Men’s and Women’s travel pieces, leathergoods, shoes and accessories. Other highlights include the new Pégase Légère and the Christopher backpack in black epi leather.
Since 1854, Louis Vuitton has provided special order and personalization services to its clients. The City Center DC store will offer Mon Monogram, allowing clients to customize their items with hand-painted initials and motifs. Hot stamping is possible for selected items and small leather accessories. Clients also will be able to design special order travel pieces, each made from start to finish by expert Louis Vuitton craftsmen.
A KEY LOCATION – The Louis Vuitton store is prominently located in the central plaza of the newly developed City Center DC, an area which includes luxury retail, dining and residential space with pedestrian walkways and plazas. The store façade is constructed from intricate, repeating aluminum panels arranged to represent the Louis Vuitton flower. Inside, custom fabric wall-covering and rich Oak floors in a repeating grid-like pattern create an inspiring and inviting atmosphere. A travel wall, with Men’s and Women’s luggage displayed on either side, is a centerpiece of the store.
