Louis Vuitton ad campaign has become even more irresistible – very few people would associate anime and videogames with designer fashion. With Nicolas Ghesquiere as the captain of the ship, it’s going to happen…
Meet lightning as the model for the Louis Vuitton Spring Summer 2016 Ad Campaign. Lightning is a beautiful character from the Final Fantasy (and only geeks would understand this). As she is posturing in the front of the camera, she is also carrying the latest Go-14 Shoulder bag with the print ‘Malletage’ detailing.
The bags are presented in multicolor, featured with a 3D LV logo on the front and long chain. The retail price of such beauty is around $4000 USD.
The second bag presented is what we think, the new Petite Malle Clutch Bag. The original version looks more like the Classic Trunk bag, but the newest version should be more modern.

They’ve been repackaged with new, exciting designs to choose from, and we don’t know how it could get any cooler than that! We know for a fact that this design has existed since the 1930s, and that it is one of the house’s iconic pieces (next to the Speedy and Noe Bag).
Whether in Malletage or in funky, graphic prints, we know you’ll never have enough of the Twist Bags. We love how the brand has incorporated another signature lock into new designs. What’s your favorite among these babies?
Oh, maybe Santa came in a little bit early, no? These cloth bags are something you’d have to contend with. Mixed emotions, definitely.

For style ideas, we turn to lookbooks…and we are ever-grateful for the kind of inspiration they give. So allow us to take you in for a spin while one of our favorite brands, Louis Vuitton, comes up with their own for Spring Summer 2016! Drool-worthy couture is everything for the budding fashionista, and trust us – we’re making notes of our own!
The over-all color palette for this lookbook may reflect a more subdued, neutral take but you can never mess with the basics! And of course, the luxury brand knows this fact very well…keeping it all under control. Still basic, but with attitude.
The Louis Vuitton Lookbook for Spring Summer 2016 was shot by the visionary Jurgen Teller, under natural lighting and with models posing in the studio behind glass – reflecting the sun, sights and Paris sky. There is no perfect background other than this, and the attention to detail on this lookbook is really obvious. We’re seeing some fashion-forward bags and footwear (have you seen the Twist Chain bag?)…actually, we’re just dying to get our hands on the pieces from this lookbook. So, any thoughts on this? Comment now!

Louis Vuitton News
Nicolas Ghesquiere is onto his second major season of agenda-setting at the new Louis Vuitton, and his dreamy-mod vision of 70s nostalgia has returned for the Louis Vuitton Spring 2015 ad campaign. Ghesquiere started revealing the photos, lensed by Annie Leibovitz, Bruce Weber and Juergen Teller (just like last season) on his personal Instagram account at the end of last year, and now the brand itself has added a few more official ads to the lineup.
The ads feature a couple of the same models from Fall 2014, including Freja Beha Erichsen, plus the addition of actress Jennifer Connelly. Connelly has been a fixture at Vuitton events and in the brand's clothes since Ghesquiere took the brand's helm, so her spot in the ads feels natural.
Check out what Ghesquiere and Vuitton have released so far below; these photos should start popping up in fashion magazines soon.
